Some People Never Learn

I guess some folks are just magnets for the attention of law enforcement. Heidi Fleiss was arrested Thursday on charges of illegal possession of prescription drugs and driving under the influence in Nevada.

Don’t you think one shift in jail would be enough to make a girl like Heidi grow up? Yeah, I know, DUI is pretty common. There are a lot of people in this world who self-medicate. Maybe she forgot what jail was all about?

The Best Thing For Her

The girl they used to call America’s Sweetheart is going to be staying in the hospital a bit longer. This should have happened sooner. I was totally convinced that one day soon I would turn on the news to hear that Britney Spears’ body had been found. I guess her family finally decided to step in and force the help this girl needs.

I’ve never been a fan of Britney Spears, she’s not my generation, but she’s been thrown in our faces by just about every media outlet for quite a few years, so I don’t feel bad about having an opinion about her.

I’m not really all that offended by Britney and her antics. Personally, I find her parents to be what turns my stomach. I don’t understand a parent that would whore out their child for money … it’s such a foreign concept that my brain cannot process the information.

I really think that the parents need to have the microscope of the media pointed in their direction. They are the root of this evil … they are the ones that should ultimately be held accountable.

It’s time for them to step us and really be parents … not just managers to their cash cow daughters.
